Papas fritas, papas fritas!!!!!

This blog will be about a restaurant that easily make you fall in love if you love fries, cold beer and sausage, but, what happens if besides all this we add over 12 different types of salsa for your fires? We found this place by chance, because when we moved to Panamá, we lived at a hotel nearby, and after a while the hotel food may turn to be pricey and even boring for someone new in the country and with a tight budget. So as usual we decided to go for a walk and see what we could find, and we came up to a small and colorful shop, painted with huge fries and a Dutch name, which in turn reminded us about good sausages. We went in, and it was true, there were fries and sausages!! two of our favorite on the go meals, and immediately we fell in love.
The people working there are very nice, and as soon as they noticed our TICO accent, they cheerfully greeted us with the famous !Pura Vida Mae!.
Amsterdam Fries is a little restaurant that offers paper cones full of French Fries, sausage, burgers and beer. They also make their own types of side dressings for your orders, most of them based on mayonnaise, for example our favorite garlic-mayo, chipotle-mayo, bacon-mayo, La Fulana, and many more. We visited the place several times until we had a taste of all the dressings they had to offer.
The fries are cut from natural potatoes, not previously processed, and for us this is one of the best qualities of the fries. You may choose between national or imported beers while you wait for your fries. You can even order some local brews if you want to try them.
This restaurant will offer three different sizes of fries, with prices from 4$ to 6$. Besides the cones with fries, you could order combos with sausages or hot dogs, or maybe a burger, patacones, and beer. Prices vary for the combos, from 6.50 to 8.50, and with the 12 flavors of dressing, we guarantee you are going to have a hard time choosing the best, because they are all amazing.
You need to get to El Cangrejo, Eusebio A. Morales Street. There is parking space in case you need it.
